The Gospel is about transformation-the transformation of our lives by the life of Christ within us. We have to ask ourselves: Do our lives reflect the grace, truth, and love we have received through Christ?* *shine

Hey guys,
This is Jennifer on my annual trip to the States. I just got off the cell phone with Melissa and Randy. They are in Mololoa checking on things, and they will be away from the Internet for awhile. So, Melissa asked that I post an update right now.

Thank you to everyone for all your prayers. The storm has passed through Tegucigalpa with minimal damage when compared to all the fearful reports we were receiving. Our house didn't even lose power through the night of light rainfall.

Mololoa is muddy but good. There is no indication of mudslides or major destruction to homes. The kitchen is closed which actually ends up being a nice holiday for our workers.

But, there is still a major concern with the standing water that attracts mosquitoes. There have already been many cases of Dengue Fever, and we fear of more. There are not a lot of man-made systems of drainage, but pray for God to use His resources (sun, water ditches, rivers) to remove the standing water as soon as possible. Pray for the hospital workers and patients they will be seeing.

And of course, keep in mind the other areas of Honduras and other countries (Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala) that are being affected by this.

God is good...All the time!
